On June 18th, family, friends, and many former students and staff members gathered at Wai'anae High to congratulate Lianne Hee (SHCW parishioner), who retired after 40 plus years of service with the Department of Education.

Stories were shared, tears were shed and "ono-licious" food was served.  Senator Maile Shimabukuro and Representative Cedric Gates presented her with a proclamation from the Hawai'i State Legislature.  Everyone had a great time seeing old friends and many former staff members from Wai'anae High.

Congratulations Lianne, and enjoy your well-deserved retirement!
